If you are currently shaving, you will need to let your hair grow 3-4 weeks before your first wax. A great way to know if your hair is long enough is by comparing it to the length of a grain of rice (¼ inch long).. If your hair is too short, the wax may be more painful or I will not be able to get up all the hair during the service.
-
There's a possibility you may trim the hair too short, so no trimming is best! I will trim during your service if deemed necessary.

The most important step is to let your hair grow for at least 3 weeks after your last shave, trim, or use of NAIR. If your hair is longer, there's no need to trim it. While some clients prefer to shower before their appointment, we also provide feminine wipes if you'd like to freshen up when you arrive. Be sure to wear loose, cotton underwear and clothing for your visit. Lastly, I encourage new clients to arrive 5 minutes early to check in, use the restroom, and get settled before the appointment begins. No need to worry about anything else, I got you!!!

While I recommend waxing every 4-6 weeks as part of your routine, I understand some prefer to wax for special occasions like vacations or weddings. For the best results, we suggest having at least 2-3 waxing sessions before your event. The first wax is often the most impactful on the skin, and activities like swimming, wearing swimsuits, and sex can be more irritating afterward. Since hair grows in cycles, it typically takes 2-3 sessions to align those cycles and achieve the smoothest, longest-lasting results.

Yes! Waxing is considered safe throughout pregnancy. You may be a little extra sensitive due to pregnancy hormones, so please ask your OB if you’re able to take OTC Tylenol 30-45 min before your service to make the experience more comfortable.
-
Absolutely!!! I simply ask that you wear a fresh tampon or use a menstrual cup or disc. This ensures the area stays clean throughout the wax helping us achieve the best results. Our bathroom has feminine wipes and I have tampons in my room in case you need them. If you have no contraindications, I advise you take OTC Tylenol 30-45 min before your service to make the experience more comfortable. If you prefer not to get waxed during your period, I ask that you please reschedule within the timeframe to avoid any fees.

For body waxing, it's important to avoid anything that may cause friction, irritation, or introduce bacteria to freshly waxed skin. I recommend avoiding sex, exercise, tight clothing, excessive sweating, beaches, pools, hot tubs, saunas, fragranced products, and exposure to high heat for 24-48 hours after your wax. Additionally, refrain from touching the area with bare hands. For facial waxing, it's best to avoid exercise, excessive sweating, touching your face with bare hands, and using unclean items like phones or sunglasses (be sure to disinfect them). Also, limit sun exposure unless you're wearing SPF.

I currently do not offer male Brazilians. I am not trained in this service but I can provide you with a list of local wax specialists who offer it.
